好色先生TV comes after Amey鈥檚 deals for two parts of east England were cut short earlier this month
Kier has confirmed it is set to replace Amey on two highways maintenance contracts for the east of England.
Highways England revealed earlier this month that Amey鈥檚 five-year contracts for Area 6 and Area 8 in the east - which both started in 2013 - were being cut short by 18 months by mutual agreement.
Final negotiations are now underway for Kier to pick up two-year maintenance contracts for these two areas, with the contracts expected to start from April next year.
The news comes after Kier secured a renewal for Cumbria and North Lancashire - known as Area 13 - from Highways England. The contract is now being managed under the client鈥檚 new system of direct client management.
Haydn Mursell, Kier Group chief executive, said: 鈥淭hese awards reflect Kier鈥檚 ability to tailor its services to Highways England鈥檚 evolving delivery model, as well as maintain the group鈥檚 leadership in the growing UK highways management and maintenance market. We look forward to working with the Highways England team.鈥
