Contractors shortlisted for East of England batch of priority schools, worth around 拢25m
Kier and Wates have been shortlisted for final batch of schools to come to market through the 拢400m directly-funded element of the government鈥檚 flagship priority school building programme.
好色先生TV understands Kier and Wates have been invited to tender for the batch of schools in the East of England, understood to be worth around 拢23m, which is the final batch to come to market through the 拢400m directly-funded element of the Priority School 好色先生TV Programme (PSBP).
The batch is expected to comprise three to five schools in Cambridgeshire, Essex, and Hertfordshire.
this follows Bam Construct and Willmott Dixon being shortlisted for the second batch of schools in the North-west of England, understood to be worth around 拢25m,
The East of England batch was the final batch of the directly-funded schools to come to market. Six of the regional batches are now at the ITT stage, while the first two batches in the North-east and the Midlands have a contractor appointed (see table below).
