The contract is the first after Keltbray鈥檚 acquisition of Golf Environmental
Demolition specialist Keltbray has won its first major golf course contract to design and build a luxury 18-hole course using material reclaimed from its demolition work.
The contract, to build an 18-hole course alongside Hampshire鈥檚 Rose Bowl cricket ground is the first after Keltbray鈥檚 acquisition of specialist Golf Environmental in January.
Keltbray鈥檚 foray into golf courses is the latest example of firms diversifying in a difficult market.
David Jenner, managing director of Keltbray Environmental Materials Management, said the firm will use repurposed material from its demolition sites for the construction of most of the course.
鈥淔irms need to innovate to do well,鈥 he said. 鈥淥ur core business creates high quality material and by using this in golf courses we can pass savings to customers.鈥
