UK construction arm outperforms expectations
Contractor and support services provider Interserve has seen its orders for the year hit 拢1bn, it announced in a statement to the city today.
The firm said its UK construction arm had outperformed expectations and offset weaknesses in foreign markets.
Adrian Ringrose, chief executive, said: 鈥淚nterserve is trading well, expanding our already strong client relationships.
鈥淭his is reflected in revenue growth and a healthy future workload. Additionally, we have executed our strategy through the acquisition of BEST, a public services business, and have unlocked further value from our PFI portfolio.鈥�
Recently the firm has won work with a selection of private and public sector clients including the Ministry of Justice, Alder Hey Children鈥檚 Trust, Ladbrokes, Sainsbury鈥檚 and National Grid.
