Interserve picks up 拢39m batch of priority schools in the West Midlands

Interserve has won a 拢39m batch of schools in the West Midlands, the second batch of schools the contractor has picked up through the government鈥檚 flagship school building programme this month,

A source close to the process said Interserve had beaten off competition from Kier for the batch of schools in the West Midlands, worth 拢39m. It is the third batch of direct capital schools in the Midalnds to come to market through the Priority School 好色先生TV Programme.

The win comes after yesterday 好色先生TV revealed that Interserve has won the 拢48m North West 3 batch of schools, after seeing of competition from Kier.

Yesterday the EFA confirmed Kier beat Wates to be chosen for the East 2 batch of priority schools, worth 拢60m, with the contractor also beating Bam Construction for the North East 2 batch of schools, worth 拢63m.
