Delayed results are expected to reveal a £25m reduction in net assets following accounting irregularities
Troubled support services group Interserve announced today that it would publish its delayed interim results on Thursday 28th September.
The group was due to announce it results for the first six months to 30 June 2006 on 4th September.
However last month its said it was pushing back the release date to the end September as it grappled with the accounting irregularities at its industrial services business.
Interserve suspended six staff and its shares tumbled after is discovered the accounting irregularities. The support services group believes correcting the issue will mean a £25m reduction in net assets in the group’s half-year results.
Accountants, KPMG and law firm, Linklaters are carrying out an independent review of the accounts.
