Five-year repair and maintenance deal for Birmingham council will start in 2010
Willmott Dixon鈥檚 social housing division, Inspace, has won a five-year deal from Birmingham council worth a total of 拢95m.
In April 2010, it will take responsibility for the repairs, maintenance and 24-hour call-out service for almost 40,000 council houses in south Birmingham.
Inspace has held a similar appointment for 20,000 city council homes in the north of the city since 2008, and from next year will expand its services into Edgbaston, Hall Green, Northfield and Selly Oak.
Mick Williamson, managing director of Inspace, said: 鈥淲e are determined to support the council鈥檚 commitment to providing an efficient, value-for-money service for its tenants and are very much looking forward to migrating our successes in the north to the south when the contract goes live.鈥
Inspace鈥檚 repairs, maintenance and stock improvement business will be re-branded as Willmott Dixon Partnerships from next month.
