Architect's completed 拢22m project includes green sedum roofs, permeable paving and natural ventilation

The official opening for Ruislip High School in north west London by architect Scott Brownrigg included a fly past of the RAF鈥檚 The Royal Squadron, which is based nearby. The 拢22m project includes teaching 鈥榖arns鈥 which are attached to a central three-storey entrance and hub.

Sustainable features include sedum grass roofs and permeable paving within the local flood pain. Special window ventilation also allows classes to operate with the windows closed, ensuring external noise is minimised. Automatic opening vents cool the building at night.

The for the scheme was Scott Wilson and contractor was Miller Construction.
