Lynch Architects has been appointed by Land Securities to work on its controversial £1.5bn scheme in Victoria, London.
The up-and-coming east London firm has been asked to draw up designs for one of the buildings in the 2 million ft2 masterplan. Land Securities has also commissioned Wilkinson Eyre, Benson + Forsythe and Allies and Morrison to join masterplanner Kohn Pedersen Fox in designing the buildings.
Land Securities is in talks with Westminster council over proposed towers on the site. Plans for the scheme have had to be modified after the council objected to the number of tall buildings it contained.
