PRP working on huge PRS scheme at Wembley
Pre-tax profit at housing architect PRP leapt by more than half last year as the practice reaped the benefit of work in the private rented sector.
The firm is working on Quintain’s huge scheme in the shadow of Wembley stadium in north-west London (pictured) with more than 11,000 homes eventually set to be built at the site.
Profit jumped 57% to £7.6m in the year to March 2017 while revenue was up 27% to £24.2m.
Virtually all of its work is from UK with just £41,000 of income coming from overseas, falling from last year’s £526,000.
The firm has around 240 staff on its books and works out of offices in London, Surrey and Manchester with its wage bill increasing £1.4m to just over £9m.
PRP is one of five practices revamping three south London estates to provide nearly 3,000 homes for Clarion Housing under a £1bn plan.
