Colin Gilmore-Merchant will join HOK as head of science and technology
HOK has snapped up a former director of Will Alsop鈥檚 practice to head up its science and technology division.
Colin Gilmore-Merchant, a former managing director of Alsop Design, will work on schemes including the 拢500m United Kingdom Centre for Medical Research & Innovation (UKCMRI) and the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia.
While at Alsop, Gilmore-Merchant was responsible for the delivery of such buildings as the 拢44m School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary College, University of London in 2005.
