Images of the Millennium Square, next to the Millennium Dome in south-east London, have been released by Meridian Delta – a joint venture between Lend Lease and Quintain Estates – Anschutz Entertainment Group Europe and English Partnerships.
The plaza, a focal point for the Greenwich Peninsula commercial district, will be roughly the size of Leicester Square. In addition to 340,000 m2 of office space, cafes and restaurants, there will be a 56 m art installation and regular staged events. The project team includes architect Barr Gazetas, structural engineer Whitbybird, landscape architect Whitelaw + Turkington, designer Commarts and lighting designer Speirs and Major.
