The housebuilder is to submit plans later this year for 107 new homes at the North West Cambridge Development

North West Cambridge Development - Hill second phase

Hill has unveiled a 拢60m, second phase plan for 107 new apartments at the University of Cambridge鈥檚 North West Cambridge Development that will in total create 3,000 new homes.

The proposed scheme, designed by Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects, will see the homes built on the site鈥檚 main thoroughfare, Eddington Avenue, overlooking Storey鈥檚 Field cricket pitch and parklands.

The housebuilder previously received planning approval for 240 new homes at the project last year.

A planning application is expected to be submitted later this year with construction to begin in summer 2017.

The development will be overseen by Hill鈥檚 new regional director David Eardley, who was appointed by the firm last Deecember to oversee the housebuilder鈥檚 major residential projects.
