Consultant will provide construction management and build services on $50m housing scheme
Consultant Hill International has been awarded a three-year $50m (£25m) contract by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) to provide construction management and build services for various capital construction projects on housing developments throughout the city.
NYCHA provides decent and affordable housing in a safe and secure living environment for low and moderate income residents in the five boroughs of New York City. It is the largest public housing authority in the United States, with approximately 13,100 employees.
Hill will provide pre-construction, construction, construction management and other related services on a requirements basis, including inspection, supervision, management, coordination and administration.
NYCHA owns, operates or maintains more than 178,000 apartments in more than 2,600 residential buildings providing housing for more than 408,000 authorized residents.
