Housebuilder enjoys one of its most successful ever months
Housebuilder Hill has landed five contracts worth 拢66m in a month to build over 300 new homes in the south-east of England.
Hill chief executive Andy Hill said the contract haul was one of the firm鈥檚 largest in a single month and the largest so far this year.
The largest contract, worth 拢16.5m, involves the construction of a 160-home development in Northolt for Network Housing Group.
Hill has also won a 拢16.3m deal to redevelop two estates in Tumbridge Wells for Town & Country Group and an 拢11.9m contract to deliver a mixed-tenure scheme of private and affordable homes in Orpington for Affinity Sutton.
The housebuilder has also won a 拢10.6m contract to build 57 new homes in Saffron Walden and a 拢10.4m deal in joint venture to build 100 homes in Stevenage.
Hill said: 鈥淭hese new schemes will regenerate and promote growth in some previously neglected parts of the South-east, while also providing much needed new housing.
鈥淲inning contracts worth 拢66million in one month is an outstanding success for our business.鈥
Hill is active across London and the south-east and is set to complete a 309-home scheme in Colindale, north London, for housing association Genesis by the middle of next year.
