Aimed at housing associations and developers with large-scale developments who are trying to meet the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM criteria, Green ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Store has launched the Ecocontract range of timber windows.
The windows are available in 100% laminated European redwood, oak or mixed Accoya – a timber product made using a non-toxic wood acetylisation process. The wood is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The double-glazed, argon-filled glazing units achieve combined U-values of between 1.5W/m2K and 1.6W/m2K depending on the glazing spacer used, while the triple-glazed option can achieve a U-value as low as 1.1W/m2K. A range of hardware and finishes is available.
