Grainger said it will begin construction after getting the green light
Property manager Grainger is set to begin work on a 拢60m PRS scheme in London after receiving planning permission.
In a trading statement this morning, the firm said it plans to start construction next year on the build-to-rent scheme in Seven Sisters, north London.
Called Apex House, the scheme will deliver 163 new homes, of which 104 will be private rented homes and 59 will be affordable homes.
The project has been designed by architects John McAslan + Partners, while Hoare Lea is the M&E consultant on the scheme.
Apex House, due for completion in 2020, is adjacent to Grainger鈥檚 Seven Sisters Regeneration scheme, which has planning consent and will deliver a further 196 rental homes, following a Compulsory Purchase Order process currently being undertaken by Haringey council.
In its statement, ahead of its full-year results on 1 December for the year ended 30 September 2016, Grainger also said it had seen a 鈥渟trong and resilient performance鈥 despite the recent Brexit vote.
