Work at west London overground stops to finish next year
Network Rail has appointed Graham to a £47m contract to carry out work at three overground stations due to be served by Crossrail in west London.
The firm will be in charge of improvement works at Acton, West Ealing and Ealing Broadway stations.
It will construct new station buildings at Acton and West Ealing, while carrying out refurbishment works at Ealing Broadway.
Network Rail has already carried out enabling works at the stations ahead of work beginning shortly. The work is due to be finished by the end of next year.
Graham’s appointment comes four months after Hochtief was chosen for a £40m deal to carry out improvement work at Hayes and Harlington, Southall and West Drayton stations also in west London.
All six of the stations are due to be serviced by the new fleet of Elizabeth Line trains (pictured) from this December.
