Government calls for submissions for inquiry into the UK's lack of engineering expertise
The government has launched an inquiry into the engineering skills shortage.
The Innovation, Universities and Skills Committee has called for submissions feeding into the inquiry, which will look at generic issues affecting the engineering industry and the provision of engineering skills.
The committee will examine specific case studies and release inquiry results from the first two studies at the same time.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 15 March.
