Places for People, the UK鈥檚 biggest housing association, built 1,250 homes last year, according to its 2006 annual report.

Overall, its turnover rose 10% to 拢255m. The association is now responsible for managing more than 58,000 homes, including this mixed-used development in Wolverton, near Milton Keynes.
