Work is set to start on a scheme by London practice LOM Architecture to build a new head office for the National Bank of Oman in the country鈥檚 capital Muscat.
The 49,000sq m building has been inspired by Oman鈥檚 wadi gorges and is due to be completed in 2017.
It will be built opposite Muscat鈥檚 Grand Mosque and as well as office space, the building includes a boardroom suite, archiving facility, main vault, roof terrace, underground staff car parking, cafeteria and data centre.
