30 developers will be appointed to the four-year panel
Transport for London has begun the procurement for the Greater London Authority鈥檚 (GLA) new 拢20bn developer framework.
The London Development Panel 2 (LDP2) will replace the current 25-strong framework which expires at the beginning of November this year.
The GLA is looking to appoint 30 developers to the panel to deliver residential-led schemes across the capital.
The four year framework, which can be extended for an extra year, is to be the mayor of London鈥檚 preferred tool for delivering residential-led development on public land, the OJEU contract notice said.
The document added that the extra year optional extension is to ensure 鈥渃ontinuity of housing delivery during a period of potential political hiatus caused by the mayoral election cycle within the contracting authority.鈥
