British architect RMJM has revealed designs for a *60m (£40m) engineering building for the National University of Ireland in Galway.
The plans for the 14,000m2 zinc-clad building, which will form the gateway to the northern campus, were submitted for planning permission in June, with work due to start on site in February 2008. The building will contain facilities for 1,500 students including engineering laboratories, workshops, computer suites and lecture rooms.
