The next phase of St Andrew鈥檚 Park in Uxbridge includes a further 249 homes

St Modwen has appointed Galliford Try to build the latest phase of its residential development at the former RAF Uxbridge base, the 1,300-home St. Andrew鈥檚 Park.

The 拢90m apartment development includes the construction of a further 249 homes spread over four blocks and will offer a range of ownerships and tenures. A new road junction will be built next to the site, with further landscaping of the communal areas also taking place.

The site is part of the planned new office and commercial heart of St. Andrew鈥檚 Park, an extension to Uxbridge town centre, creating around 1,000 jobs in the area.

Work is scheduled to start on site later this month with completion expected by late spring 2018.

Tim Seddon, regional director for London and the South East at St. Modwen, said: 鈥淭his is a very significant stage for us and the project because we are developing this site ourselves, rather than selling on the plots of land.

鈥淲e will have a wide variety of homes offering something for everyone, with some to be sold and some to be privately rented.鈥

Matthew Pool, Galliford Try London and South East commercial managing director, said: 鈥淲e are delighted to be working with St. Modwen on this high profile scheme, on the doorstep of our own headquarters, and look forward to adding this further phase of high-quality housing to the St. Andrew鈥檚 Park development.鈥

A new school on site has been delivered and St. Modwen鈥檚 housebuilding arm, St. Modwen Homes, is onsite delivering some 85 new homes. Persimmon Homes is also well advanced with its housing phases.
