French giant no longer carrying out low-rise housing
Galliford Try鈥檚 housing and regeneration arm has taken on two Wolverhampton jobs that were being carried out by Bouygues UK.
The firm鈥檚 partnerships arm snapped up the sites after the French contractor said it was turning its back on the low-rise family housing market.
The largest scheme is for 150 homes at a former Armitage Shanks factory on the city鈥檚 Showell Road (pictured) with the smaller scheme consisting of 77 homes at a former car and motorcycle plant in the Graiseley area of the city.
The city council said the first homes at the Showell Road site will be ready next Janaury.
