Contractor appointed by Liverpool Mutual Homes
Galliford Try Partnerships has started work on a £20m affordable housing development in Liverpool.
Housing provider Liverpool Mutual Homes appointed the firm’s partnerships operation to build 145 affordable homes on Edge Lane, in the east of the city.
The Bowker Sadler Architecture-designed scheme (pictured) received planning approval last November and incorporates a series of three and four storey properties facing Edge Lane featuring 107 one and two-bed apartments available for Rent to Buy.
The project, which is expected to be completed in 2020, will also feature 38 two-and three-bed houses available for shared ownership.
The scheme forms part of the Liverpool Housing Partnership, creating 1,500 new homes across the city.
