Galliford Try reaches financial close on a Coventry NHS Lift and Caludon Castle School PFI.
Galliford Try has reached financial close on two PPP schemes in Coventry worth £87m.
The housebuilding and construction firm is part of the gbconsortium, which has a 20-year framework partnering agreement with Coventry NHS Lift working with Coventry Teaching Primary Care Trust and Partnerships for Health.
The first tranche of the agreement has a contract value of £42 million over a period of three years, with the first two projects to construct medical centres at Keresley and Longford.
On the £45m Caludon Castle School PFI in Coventry Galliford Try is in consortium with Bilfinger Berger.
The project includes the construction and facilities management of a new art school for 1,400 students, including child care facilities and a library.
David Calverley, chief executive of Galliford Try, said: 'We are delighted to have reached financial close on both these projects. This again demonstrates the strength of our partnership approach and our focus and commitment to both the health and education sectors.'
