Contractor鈥檚 building business awarded two jobs

Contractor Galliford Try has won two near 拢40m building jobs including the construction of council offices for Northamptonshire County Council.

The contractor will build the new 17,600 sq m headquarters for the council and a cafe in a regeneration area on the south side of Northampton, in a contract worth 拢38m.

It has also won a 拢39m job to build a new 14,000 sq m office building in Sutton, Surrey, for offshore engineering company Subsea 7.

Galliford Try executive chairman Greg Fitzgerald said he was 鈥渄elighted鈥 to win the jobs. 鈥淲e have a strong reputation in the office sector and we look forward to providing these two clients with the first class facilities they require,鈥 he said.
