Firm seals 拢128m project as part of 拢163m dual contract package
Galliford Try鈥檚 regeneration arm has inked housing contracts worth a combined 拢163m in London.
The deals include a 拢128m project for Notting Hill Housing in the Royal Docks and a 拢35m job for Almacantar on Edgware Road.
Galliford Try Partnerships said the Royal Docks win - phase two of Notting Hill Housing鈥檚 Great Eastern Quays development - was the division鈥檚 largest-ever standalone contract secured in the South-east.
Partnerships is already on site at Great Eastern Quays, completing the 拢85m first phase, which has involved creating 350 new homes.
Under the new deal it will build a further 468 homes for Notting Hill on the site, including 164 affordable homes, alongside further landscaping and public amenity works, and 2,400m虏 of commercial, community and retail space.
Under the Almacantar contact it will build 76 homes at the developer鈥檚 Lyons Place scheme, which sits adjacent to Little Venice and Maida Vale.
The scheme includes 47 affordable homes, commercial space and a new petrol station.
Stephen Teagle, chief executive of Galliford Try Partnerships, said: 鈥淭hese new contracts further strengthen our growing Partnerships & Regeneration business in line with our new strategy announced last month.
鈥淭he Great Eastern Quays project in particular demonstrates our expertise in delivering large-scale regeneration projects and the trust our long-term partners place in us.鈥
