Framework to supply housing assocaitions and local authorities across country

A national framework for repairs and maintenance worth up to 拢250m has been launched.

Procurement organisation Fusion21 has put firms on notice for the framework, which will provide housing associations and local authorities with reactive services for four years.

The framework is split into five lots covering different areas of service and runs from September 2022.

Peter Francis, executive director of operations at Fusion21 said the framework had been developed in response to member and supply chain feedback.

鈥淲e are delighted this framework now encompasses all aspects of repairs, maintenance, property refurbishment, and security works in one place,鈥 he said.

Fusion21 Repair and Maintenance Framework

Lot 1 Responsive Repairs and Maintenance (worth up to 拢180 million)

Lot 2 Empty Property Refurbishment (worth up to 拢22.5 million)

Lot 3 Empty Property Security (worth up to 拢10 million)

Lot 4 Housing Disrepair Works (worth up to 拢36 million)

Lot 5 Contract Centre Services (worth up to 拢1.5 million)

鈥淩ecent figures have highlighted housing associations are spending around 拢5.4 billion a year on repairs and maintenance services.

鈥淲e expect both demand and investment in this area to continue to grow, as the sector continues to recover from the pandemic tackling back-log repairs and disrepair works, while also striving to deliver best practice and increase customer satisfaction within communities.鈥

Fusion21 has invited bids from interested SMEs and contractors, with a 18 July deadline.
