Scheme includes additional retail and lounge facilities
An extension by Foster + Partners to a cruise liner terminal in Hong Kong has opened.
The scheme has been designed to provide more space for dining and leisure at the site which has uninterrupted views of the world famous harbour.
The scheme also features wide cantilevered terraces with shade at the lower levels while a stepped outdoor seating area features glass risers to allow natural light to flood into the atrium below.
Fosters completed work on another cruise terminal in Hong Kong four years ago. Called the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, the scheme was built on the site of Hong Kong’s former airport and has capacity to berth two large 360m-long ships.
