A yacht designed by Foster + Partners launched this week at the Perini Navi boatyard in Viareggio, Italy

The yacht, called Panthalassa, follows Norman Foster鈥檚 venture into more space-age structures, having designed a spaceport in New Mexico for Richard Branson鈥檚 commercial space flight venture Virgin Galactic.

The cost of the yacht has not been made public.
