All the schemes will be revealed to the public next Wednesday at an exhibition at the winter gardens next to the World Trade Centre site.
The teams also include Daniel Libeskind and a group including Foreign Office Architects.
The ideas from the six teams will be used by the client to create three site plans for public consultation early next year.
The competition was launched in the summer after plans by Beyer Blinder Belle were rejected by the New York public.
