Luxury 19th-century hotel redesigned in collaboration with local architect Itten & Brechbuehl

Foster + Partners has released images of its newly completed revamp of the Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich.

The Foster masterplan incorporates tennis courts, a golf course, a swimming pool, an ice rink and a sculpture park, and an extension to the 19th-century hotel.

The extension has allowed the Swiss hotel to build a new spa, a ballroom and a gallery.

Foster + Partners collaborated with local architect Itten & Brechbuehl to complete the building.
