Ridsdill-Smith will head up architect鈥檚 engineering design team

Foster + Partners has recruited Arup engineer Roger Ridsdill-Smith to head up its engineering design team.

Ridsdill-Smith ahs worked on Foster projects for 16 years while at Arup.

Commenting on the appointment Norman Foster said: 鈥淩oger is an engineer of extraordinary talent and vision and his joining us now marks a significant point of return to our roots.鈥�

Ridsdill-Smith said: 鈥淭his is a fantastic opportunity to bring creative engineering right to the earliest stages of a project. I am really looking forward to the challenge鈥�
