John Anderson joins Larkfleet at beginning of next month
The man who used to run Kier’s up-for-sale housing business has been appointed regional housebuilder Larkfleet’s new chief executive.
John Anderson left Kier last summer after more than nine years at Kier Living. He was replaced by Nick Moore but he left in February after just seven months in the role.
Anderson (pictured) will take up his new post at the Lincolnshire firm at the beginning of next month.
He will replace Karl Hick, the founder of Larkfleet, who now becomes chairman.
Anderson will join another ex-Kier Living director at the Bourne-based business, with its former finance director Alastair Gordon-Stewart having recently taken on the role of chief financial officer.
The £75m turnover firm is looking to triple in size over the next five years.
In results released at Companies House in the spring, Larkfleet said it had a land bank worth £1.7bn in terms of gross development value and expected to exceed 2019 completions of 342 homes this year.
Most of Larkfleet’s new housing developments are in Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
Larkfleet was started by Hick in 1998, with a staff of three working from an office in Stamford, near Peterborough, and now employs around 100 people.
