Five firms are bidding to build RMJM-designed engineering building for the University of Sheffield
Bam Construct and Interserve are among five firms in the running for a £50m job to build a new engineering building for Sheffield university.
ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV understands that Interserve, Bowmer & Kirkland, Bam Construct, Miller and Sir Robert McAlpine are all vying for the contract to build the new RMJM-designed engineering building for the University of Sheffield.
The 19,500 sqm New Engineering ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV will serve as an undergraduate facility for the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sheffield.
Construction is due to begin this summer, with completion scheduled for December 2015.
Turner & Townsend are working as project managers and cost consultants, Arup as consulting engineers, and Montagu Evans as planning consultant.
