Collins Construction set to complete MBO
Fit-out specialist Collins Construction has promoted director Jason Warren to the post of managing director as the firm enters the final phase of its management buy-out.
Warren (pictured) takes over from Chris Bartram, who with fellow director Mark Dockery is stepping away from the day-to-day running of the Croydon-based group. Both will remain as investors in the business and non-executive directors.
Collins, which began its MBO two years ago, said the changes would allow future succession planning and enhance the possibilities for career progression in the company.
Warren, a former divisional director with ISG, has been with the company for five years.
Collins was established in 1956 and currently has 160 staff. It has worked on projects such as the Wimbledon Tennis Museum, a 拢12m refurbishment for Total Office Group and on-going fit-outs for Kirkland & Ellis and the Gherkin.
In its last set of results, which were for the year to 30 June 2018, the firm reported revenue of 拢96m and a pre-tax profit on ordinary activities of 拢2.9m.
