Marley Eternit鈥檚 panels were used at Darlington Memorial hospital to replace glass panels
Fibre cement cladding panels made by Marley Eternit have been used at Darlington Memorial hospital, County Durham. The 鈥淧ictura鈥 grey panels were specified to replace glass panels, which needed regular maintenance. The company says County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust wanted to reduce maintenance costs and improve the thermal efficiency and appearance of the building. Thermal performance was improved by fitting composite insulated panels on to a
wall-mounted, vertical aluminium frame system between floor levels and then cladding it with the fibre cement panels.
