Ten structural Eurocodes replaced old British Standards today
Structural Eurocodes have finally replaced British Standards.

The ten Eurocodes are intended to harmonise structural standards across the EU although each country can add an annex adjusting these to suit local conditions and practices.
Although engineers can continue using British Standards these won鈥檛 be updated and all public sector projects must be design using Eurocodes or a technically equivalent standard.
