Bidders鈥 day later this month
Enfield council has announced its plans to launch a 拢135m framework for contractors to provide early works at its 拢6bn Meridian Water scheme.
The council is set to host bidders鈥 day on 26 April for interested firms ahead of launching the framework in May.
Meridian Water is a 25-year regeneration programme led by the council that will bring up to 10,000 homes to Enfield in north London.
Successful contractors will be required to carry out services and highways work, demolition and construction, earthworks, land remediation and bridges infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the company who founded the London Printworks music venue, which is located within the site of British Land鈥檚 Canada Water development, has confirmed it will open a new venue at Meridian Water.
Broadwick Live has confirmed that it will transform the disused Willoughby Lane gasworks into a new venue, which will be called The Drumsheds, that will hold up to 10,000 people. The venue is due to open this summer.
