Consultant issues results and says pre-tax profit has grown 17% to 拢33.2m

A quarter of EC Harris鈥 profit now comes from outside the UK, the consultant has said.

Announcing its results for the 12 months to 30 April 2007, it said pre-tax profit had grown by 17% from 拢28.3m to 拢33.2m and turnover had risen by 16% to 拢203.5m. The profit contribution from Europe, Asia and the Middle East was 25%.

The average number of partners in the Limited Liability Partnerhsip was 200 and the average profit per partner was 拢149,000.

As the highest paid member, chairman Richard Clare saw his profit share jump by a third to 拢703,000 鈥 up from 拢540,000 in 2006.

Total wage costs over the year were 拢79.1m and an average staff number of 2,437 meant the average wage at the company was 拢32,475.
