Dyson supplied 8 Dyson Airblade hand dryers for the Environmental Agency’s office in Preston, Lancashire.
The company says these hand dryers were chosen as an environmentally-friendly alternative to paper towels and warm air hand dryers. A Dyson Airblade dryer is fitted with a HEPA filter, which is a pleated 600,000mm2 membrane with anti-microbial additives, which the company claims eliminates 99.9% of surface bacteria. The Dyson Digital Motor produces an air stream flowing at 400mph through a 3mm gap to wipe moisture from hands. Dyson says the hand dryers can help to lower a business’ carbon footprint as there are no paper towels creating waste.
