Accommodation will include 357 student beds, facilities and commercial space
Developer F3Group has won planning approval from Bristol City Council for a £45m student accommodation block in the Redcliffe area of the city.
The proposed scheme, which is due to complete by the end of 2019, will provide 357 student beds (322 cluster apartments and 35 studios); 320m2 of student facilities and 270m2 of ground commercial space.
The existing post-war office building will be demolished, with the new development serving the University of Bristol.
Within the new building there will be a main reception, communal common rooms, meeting rooms, courtyard, games room, management facilities, cycle racks, car park and laundry facilities.
T3Group’s other projects include the 13-storey Crowne Plaza Hotel at 10 Albert Embankment in London, and the regeneration of 45 Millharbour in Canary Wharf.
