Developer plans redevelopment of Kingston town centre
British Land has unveiled fresh designs for the £400m redevelopment of Kingston town centre in west London.
The plans include a 16-storey tower - scaled back from initial plans for a 19-storey tower - a boutique cinema, sky restaurant, office and retail spaces, and 385 residential apartments.
British Land is joint owner of the scheme with Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS).
A planning application is expected to be submitted imminently, with completion of the development expected by Christmas 2019.
