Architects BIG and Architectural Nexus win Kimball commission

Danish architect BIG and US practice Architectural Nexus have won a competition to design a new building to house the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

The design for a new building for the Kimball Arts Centre, plus a renovation of the existing structure, was selected last week, and construction is due to start in 2013.

The design team comprised: BIG, Architectural Nexus, Dunn Associates, VBFA, Envision Engineering, and Big D.
