Bernard O'Sullivan is found guity of failing to ensure that risks to workers were adequately controlled
The former managing director of a Manchester-based demolition company has been found guilty of a criminal Health and Safety Executive charge.
Bernard O鈥橲ullivan, the former managing director of Excavation & Contracting UK, will be sentenced in December after being found guilty at Warrington Crown Court at the end of a two-week trial. The charge followed the death of site labourer David Moran in 2002, who was killed when the roof he was walking on collapsed.
O鈥橲ullivan was found guilty of failing to ensure that risks to workers were adequately controlled.
Four other parties have entered guilty pleas and will be sentenced alongside O鈥橲ullivan.
