Despite rumours that apartments aren鈥檛 selling, developers are happy with number of completions
锘緼t least 拢900m worth of sales have now been completed on the 拢1bn One Hyde Park development in Knightsbridge, according to Nick and Christian Candy, despite speculation that apartments were not selling.
As 好色先生TV went to press, Nick Candy, chief executive of interior design group Candy & Candy, said: 鈥淚n the last three weeks alone, over 拢900m worth of deals have now been completed.鈥 This figure has previously only been linked to exchanged deals.
Richard Williams, director of Project Grande (Guernsey), the client of One Hyde Park, said: 鈥淚 can confirm that completed apartment sales at One Hyde Park now stand in excess of 拢900m and are in respect of more than 60% of the development.鈥
Most press reports following the building鈥檚 launch in January have claimed that only two apartments, which range from a 拢6.5m one-bed to the 拢140m penthouse, had been sold and that it looked unlikely many more deals would follow.
Christian Candy, chief executive of CPC Group, developer of the project with Waterknights, said speculation was fuelled by secrecy surrounding the super-rich buyers.
