Davis Langdon鈥檚 Scottish operation has merged with regional consultancy Mackenzie Partnership to create a business with a combined turnover of 拢11m.

The deal will give Davis Langdon about 150 staff in Scotland, including 18 partners. Turnover for the region is forecast to be 拢11.3m in 2007/08, and 拢18m by 2012.

The Scottish operation鈥檚 joint managing partners will be Sam Mackenzie of Davis Langdon and Douglas Robertson of Mackenzie Partnership. Donny McKinnon, MacKenzie Partnership鈥檚 current managing director, will become a partner and will be involved in business strategy.

The combined company will offer project and cost management, together with specialist services including building surveying, property tax and finance, due diligence for PFI and PPP projects and banks and design management.

MacKenzie said: 鈥淥ur joint expertise will allow us to offer our clients an unrivalled depth of resource.鈥�

In the short term, the businesses will operate from their respective offices, but eventually the Glasgow and Edinburgh offices will be consolidated and Mackenzie Partnership鈥檚 Aberdeen office will be expanded.
