Gleeds and Aecom working on deal drawn up by HLM
Plans for a new £21m medical school building at Lincoln university have been given the green light by the city council.
The planning application for the scheme, which was designed by HLM, was submitted at the end of January.
The new, five-storey building is due to be finished in spring 2021 and will include lecture theatres, laboratories and a science library.
The scheme is also set to include a roof terrace on the southern side of the building that will be used for university events.
Perfect Circle – a consortium made up of Pick Everard, Gleeds and Aecom – is delivering project and cost management.
The wider project team includes Curtins, which is acting as the structural and civil engineer, and building services engineer SDA.
